Bruins Coach
Jessica Oatman
Jessica is a former MSU swimmmer and graduate.
She holds a BFA in
Graphic Design/ Illustration. During her college years as an
MSU
swimmer, she was named Freshman Swimmer of the Year, Most Valuable
Swimmmer in 1999, All Conference in 1999, 2000 and 2001,
and was the Women's team captain in 2001. Jessica worked for
the
Aquabears as a swim instructor in the fall of 2002. She is a
former
High School All American, Team Captain of her high school swim team
and Team Record holder in the 100 Backstroke, 200 IM and 100
Breaststroke.
Jessica has extensive experience as a lessons instructor and an age
group coach. Before joining MSA, she was age group coach for South
Eastern Virginia Aquatics and co-head coach for the Manta Rays
summer swim club. She was also an assistant swim coach at the
Jamestown High School Swim Team.
